Free Online Support Group for Parents with Teenage Children

The Counseling Center for parents, teenagers, and educators of “Together for Children” organizes:

  • An online support group for parents with teenage children (ages 12-18).

Start date: Tuesday, October 15th. Register HERE.

6 Scheduled online meetings:
Tuesdays: 15/10, 22/10, 29/10, 5/11, 12/11, 19/11 | Time: 11:00-12:30.

The goal of the group is to educate and guide parents on more effective parenting behavior models. With the help of facilitators, various alternative approaches are explored on issues that challenge parents, providing them with appropriate “tools” to strengthen their role and achieve more effective communication within the family.

At the same time, group members will enhance their skills in dealing with both practical and emotional challenges they face with their children, through sharing, interacting, and exchanging experiences among themselves.

General notes:

  • The group has a psycho-educational character, consisting of 6 sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours on a weekly basis.
  • Participation in all 6 sessions is mandatory, except in case of a serious emergency.
  • Maximum number of participants is 10, on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The groups are closed, meaning no new participants will be accepted after the 1st meeting.
  • After registration, there will be a follow-up phone call from the Counseling Center team to confirm participation.
  • Participation in the groups is FREE of charge.
