Through the program “Together in the Remote Areas,” Together for Children equipped and upgraded educational and healthcare units in the Regional Unit of Evros, addressing the needs of the residents of Orestiada, Didymoteicho, Soufli, Alexandroupolis, and Samothrace. The initiative began in 2019 with a significant number of interventions that improved the quality of life for 133,802 residents.

More specifically, in the field of education, 67 schools of all levels, attended by 5,439 students, were strengthened.

As part of the intervention in schools, the scientific team of Together for Children organized 29 psychoeducational seminars for the parents, educators, and, of course, the students of Evros.

The contribution of Together for Children in the field of health is also significant, as in collaboration with the relevant authorities, the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis, the General Hospital of Didymoteicho, and the Dikela Health Center were strengthened with the necessary medical equipment.
