During the pandemic, Together for Children, in collaboration with the member association “PNOI – Friends of Pediatric Intensive Care,” contributed to the equipment of intensive care units in 14 reference hospitals for COVID-19, across the country.
The donation of €470,000 included 52 vital signs monitors and 120 syringe pumps, as well as consumables aimed at enhancing healthcare infrastructure. Specifically:
- 8 monitors – 1st ICU of the General Hospital of Attica “KAT”
- 5 monitors – ICU of the University Hospital of Ioannina
- 2 monitors – ICU of the General Oncological Hospital of Kifisia “Oi Agioi Anargyroi”
- 5 monitors – ICU of the General Hospital of Attica “Sismanoglio”
- 2 monitors – 2nd ICU of the General Hospital of Attica “KAT”
- 4 monitors – ICU of the Red Cross – Korgialeneio Benakeio Hospital
- 2 monitors – ICU of the General Hospital of Athens “G. Gennimatas”
- 4 monitors – ICU of the General Hospital of Athens “Laiko”
- 6 monitors – ICU of the University Hospital “ATTIKON”
- Additionally, the donation included 48 SN-S1 syringe pumps, five S1/A-W100H factory towers (15 pumps), and 600 medication infusion sets for the ICU of the General Hospital of Thessaloniki “ACHILLES PAPAGEORGIOU”.
- Furthermore, the donation included 13 monitors, 27 AGILIA VP MC WIFI GR volumetric pumps, 6 pump management stations, 4 AGILIA LINK 4 EU2 stations, 3 AGILIA VP MC WIFI GR volumetric pumps, 6 heavy-duty stands, 10 adult air chambers with masks, and 600 infusion pump administration sets for the Evangelismos General Hospital in Athens.
- Additionally, donations of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) were made to the General Hospital of Nikaia, the Pediatric Hospital “Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou” in Athens, the Sismanoglio Hospital in Kozani, and the “Hippokration” General Hospital in Athens, including:
- 100,000 single-use masks
- 160,000 pairs of gloves
- 1,080 goggles
- 4,500 full-body protective suits
