Together for Children Supports New Parents
With overwhelming support from individual donors, educational institutions, and companies, the Christmas initiative of Together for Children, titled “Together We Support New Parents”, has successfully concluded. Thanks to the valuable contributions of 123 donors, we will provide assistance to more than 60 financially vulnerable families with infants aged 0-12 months, ensuring they receive essential goods to meet their needs.
Families with infants who have applied for support through the Together for Children social service will receive essential supplies for six months, including food, baby products, personal hygiene items, cleaning supplies, clothing, footwear, and any additional necessities. The support is provided through vouchers redeemable at major supermarket chains as part of the “Supporting Vulnerable Families” program.
Ms. Loukia Tertipi, social worker at Together for Children, stated: “Supporting families is vital to ensuring that their newest members grow up in an environment that provides security and care. This initiative demonstrates the power of solidarity and generosity. We sincerely thank the individual donors, companies, and schools that responded with kindness, significantly improving the daily lives of these families.”
