We Donated Over 1,600 Baby Care Items to Child Protection Organizations
The baby care item collection initiative organized by Together for Children as part of the “I Offer Because I Care” program was successfully completed on Thursday, October 31, and Friday, November 1, at the SKLAVENITIS store in AVENUE Mall. The public’s response was exceptionally warm, with participants contributing a total of 803 baby care items. Septona actively supported this initiative by donating an additional 848 baby care products, effectively doubling the overall contribution.
The collected items included baby creams, formula milk, biscuits, children’s body washes, shampoos, baby wipes, diapers, and other essential care products. These items will be donated to child protection organizations supported by Together for Children.
Volunteers played a key role in the initiative, making a significant difference with their willingness to give. Students from the IB program of Moraitis School, employees from Qualco, and individual supporters of Together for Children joined forces, demonstrating solidarity with children in need.
As Ms. Matina Antoniou, social worker and coordinator of the “I Offer Because I Care” program, stated:
“This initiative would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteers and the invaluable support of the public and Septona. Everyone’s contribution addresses essential needs of children aged 0 to 3, residing in child protection organizations across Greece.”
The baby care item collection initiative will be repeated on December 5 and 6, 2024, at the SKLAVENITIS store in AVENUE Mall.
