Together for Children: Supporting Mothers Victims of Violence and Their Children

Through its program “Supporting Vulnerable Families” and with the valuable support of Coffee Island, Together for Children stands by mothers who are victims of violence and their minor children, providing aid to those assisted by the Counseling Center and the Women’s Shelter for Victims of Abuse in Patras.

As part of this initiative, beneficiary families receive vouchers for purchasing food and essential items from major supermarket chains for a period of six months.

Ms. Loukia Tertipi, social worker and head of the “Supporting Vulnerable Families” program at Together for Children, stated:
“The support of Coffee Island strengthens our ability to provide meaningful assistance to women and children facing challenging life circumstances. Through this collaboration, we offer them practical relief and help them feel they are not alone, creating a network of safety and care.”

Mr. Panagiotis Konstantinopoulos, Managing Director of Coffee Island, remarked:
“We embraced this initiative with trust in the work of Together for Children. We supported an action with substance and a direct impact on society, especially in the city of Patras. We sincerely hope to provide emotional strength to these women striving to build a better future for themselves and their children.”
