8th Food Drive: P.E.F Stands by Families
5.5 Tons of Food for Vulnerable Families with Children
“Together for Children” partnered once again with the Panhellenic Union of Pharmaceutical Industry (PEF) for the annual Christmas Food Drive. This year, a total of 5.5 tons of goods were collected and will be distributed immediately, covering the needs of more than 800 children.
This initiative is an act of solidarity made possible through the collective effort of employees and member companies of the Greek pharmaceutical industry. Implemented for the 8th consecutive year in collaboration with “Together for Children,” it has become a benchmark for the sector’s tangible social contribution.
Every year, “Together for Children” and PEF join forces, dedicating this initiative to the meaningful protection, support, and improvement of the quality of life of children and families in need across Greece.
Specifically, in 2025, the initiative focused on supporting vulnerable families with preschool-aged children, assisted by partner organizations across 11 regional units (Attica, Boeotia, Thessaloniki, Arcadia, Achaia, Larissa, Rodopi, Ioannina, Evia, Halkidiki, and Fthiotida), where PEF member companies operate. Through this initiative, essential and critical needs in food and personal hygiene products will be covered.
“Together for Children” extends its sincere thanks to PEF, its member companies, and all employees who contributed with generosity and compassion to the successful implementation of this initiative, reaffirming that social solidarity gains real meaning when built on cooperation and consistency.
