“30 Years of Together for Children – €1 donation generates €7.7 of social value”
“Together for Children” celebrates 30 years of continuous presence and meaningful contribution to Greek society, demonstrating its social impact with measurable results.
According to a Social Return on Investment (SROI) study for the 2024–2025 period, every €1 invested in the Organization’s programs and initiatives generated social outcomes with a proven economic value of €7.7. This finding highlights the rational management of resources and the impact of every donation, collaboration, and intervention, turning the initial investment into a chain of measurable social results.
Over three decades of action, Together for Children has supported more than 460,000 children and their families, collaborated with 250 child protection agencies and social services across Greece, upgraded 195 remote schools improving educational conditions in isolated areas, and strengthened 28 hospitals and health centers with modern medical equipment.
For 30 years, the team of Together for Children, with the continuous support of companies, foundations, individual donors, and the contribution of friends, partners, and volunteers, has implemented interventions in the following areas:
• Poverty alleviation through support for vulnerable families and child protection agencies.
• Health & mental health through the enhancement of healthcare units, the 11525 helpline, and counseling centers.
• Education through the modernization of school infrastructure in remote areas and the implementation of innovative educational programs in collaboration with the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).
Furthermore, the Organization carries out emergency interventions in communities affected by natural disasters, health crises, or other emergencies, providing immediate relief.
2025 was a particularly dynamic and effective year, as through targeted nationwide initiatives and a broad network of collaborations with 187 agencies, 131 schools, and 196 companies and foundations, Together for Children supported thousands of children and families, significantly enhancing their access to essential goods, services, and educational opportunities.
